Bottle at home thanks Maakun. Sweet apple, sheep’s grease, sweet apples, old fallen apples, dry peels, light sweet citrus peel edges, bitter and massive tannic dryness. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cidre Brut on 11 Apr 2020 at 01:02 - Score: 8. Bottle bought at the farm shared in Les Thons. Clear deep golden, no head. Huge deep funk, barnyard funk too, dry apple peel, apricot, dry mineral notes, very earthy, some apple pie. Medium sweet, under medium bitter and tart. Medium bodied, very dry finish. Old school farmhouse cider made the old way. It’s tasty and interesting, but it’s maybe a bit too weird dry bitter in the finish.
Had it again. Nicer body, still quite funky and tannic with under medium carbonation. Nice.
