Super is an amber beer with a fine, light hazelnut colored and persistent head. The scent immediately reveals a nice complexity: fruity and warm notes, such as cooked plums or apples, are complemented by hints of vanilla, toffee, almonds and a delicate touch of orange.
The taste confirms all the promises perceived by the nose, with the addition of notes of biscuits, almonds, nuts and a subtle spicy finish with licorice.

Pours ruby/copper with a quickly fading head.Nose shows brown sugar, chocolate, toasty malt, spicy phenols, caramel, dried figs.Very similar flavours. A bit too sweet, with loads of caramel, golden syrup and brown sugar. Some booze follows.Too much carb.

Tap at Open Baladin, Roma, 10/02/13. Lightly hazed dark amber. Nose is dark malts, citrus, spice, fruits. Taste comprises dark fruits, spice, toffee. yeast. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry and fruity in the finish. Ok stuff - nowt special!

Flaske hjemme mens jeg renskriver notater fra M2: et umiddelbart sjarmerende inntrykk, og i min favorittstil belgisk dubbel. Aroma og smak av aprikos og tørket fiken. Bare et snev av bitterhet, men allikevel en kontrollert og behagelig sødme. Et riktig deilig øl, synd at det bare er en 0,25 flaske.

Bottle, 12C. Hazy brown with a coat of beige head. Aroma of dried fruit, caramel, mandarins, alcohol. Slightly syrupy, light carbonation. Sweet with dried fruits (raisins, apricots, banana), dry sherry (or Vin Santo, I suppose), wood, mandarin peel. Malty and a bit oxidised with a pleasant lightening slightly sour and hoppy citrus/ herbal finish. [edit to bump score .1]

Aroma - soft fruity malts, soft light floral notes, hint of orange, light aroma with only a hint of alcohol
Taste - fruity, very fruity malts, alcohol well hidden, hard to describe, sweet and fruity, light caramel, some peach and apricot, bit of tangerine, touch of bitterness after the initial sweetness, Unusual and very nice
Palate - low carb, thinnish body, sweet palate, fairly oily. Finish a little dry, fruity clean finish.
Overall - Unusual fruity beer, very interesting

Pours cloudy orange with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, dried fruits and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long fruity and some sourness in the finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, L008/120. Pours hazy dark brown, with a finger thick creamy head. Aroma is quite nice with caramel and toffee, lots of fruits and apples and notes of alcohol in a very positive manner. A normal body with a fairly lively carbonation. Flavour is sweet with oakiness and nuts, and lots of yeasty fruitiness giving it a sweet finish as well.
