This beer is brewed using the traditional bottom-fermentation method, which requires long aging. This is why the bouquet you sense is so rich. Combined with the spiciness of chili, it is a perfect match for desserts and exquisite dishes made of noble meats.
A great choice for those who, apart from the perfect classics, are still looking for new flavors and sophisticated, rare combinations of flavors.

Barwa ciemnobrunatna, dość trwała i pokaźna piana. Aromat czekolady, lekki alkohol. W smaku gorzka czekolada, lekkie owoce i alkohol, czuć papryczkę chili na podniebieniu, delikatnie piekącą, chociaż mogło by być nieco bardziej. Troszeczkę brakuje ciała, nawet jak na 18tkę. Całkiem udane jednak.

Butelka 0,5l temp serwowania 12 stopni. Aromat: na pierwszym miejscu czekolada z kawą, w tle nuty palone, do tego delikatna śliwka, papryczki nie wyczuwam. Barwa: czarne nieprzejrzyste, pod światło w miejscu gdzie szkło się zwęża można zobaczyć delikatnie rubinowe refleksy. Piana: śadna obfita drobno pęcherzykowa, ciemno beżowa, trwałość średnia, opadając na początku zbija się w kremową masę(kożuch) po czym opada pozostawiając cieniutką warstwę, leasing słaby nie zdobi jakoś szczególnie szkła. Smak: powinno być dobrze ponieważ połączenie czekolady i chili jest stare jak świat i powinno podkreślić i wzmocnić smak czekolady, w tym przypadku chyba trochę za dużo nasypali, po prostu jest za ostro tym bardziej że alk jeszcze się nie ułożył i przy 8 procentach + duża ilość chili niszczy całość mimo że lubię ostre potrawy w tym przypadku mówię nie, goryczki nie ma, jest po prostu ostro, wysycenie średnie do niskiego wyczuwalna kawa. To drugie podejście do tego piwa i szybko nie wrócę, kupię butelkę i odłożyę na rok, dwa może alk się ułoży i chili straci na mocy, szkoda bo piwem bazowym pewnie jest GIP który bardzo mi smakuje, w tym przypadku rozczarowanie albo nie ta bajka.

Dunkler und süßlicher Malzantrunk mit minimaler, im Mittelteil spürbarer Schärfe. Dabei wird die Süße etwas geringer, auch die Malzigkeit fährt etwas zurück. Süßer, fast zuckriger Nachgeschmack mit etwas zu schwachem Malz und deutlicher Schärfe. OK. 9/10/9/8/7/8

Thanks to Mariusz for sharing! The beer starts smmoth-malty with a nice chilli-hotness. Fresh, smooth, nice. The aftertaste is sweet-chocolate thick with a nice smooth chilli-finish. 12/10/11/12

Bottle, pours dark brown color, nice beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, spicy. The chili is present and fits quite well.

Dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, süß, schokoladig. Geschmack süß, Karamell, leichte Schärfe, Kaffee. Im Abgang merkt man die Schärfe deutlich.

Bottle, Cambridge Cellars. Dark brown with an inch of beige head that fades but laces OK. Aroma is fruity with raisins, dates, prunes, some chili... wait I can feel it in my eyes. Lowish carbonation. Taste is sweet and much like normal Amber Grand Porter - maybe a bit more plummy - but with moderate burning. It’s brooding rather than really hot and it doesn’t overwhelm the beer. Maybe even complements the sweetness a bit. Didn’t expect to want to finish 1/2l of this, but it’s pretty enjoyable.

Bottled@Gastropub Nordic, Tampere. More or less black colour with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is toasted, eathy,fruity and also a bit nutty notes. The flavour is rather similar to most elements, but also has a nice spicy and chili notes kicking in the finish. Quite pleasantly balanced though.

Bottle 500ml (Nordic)
Dark deep brown color, creamy brownish color. Berryish, caramel, cardboard in the nose. Medium-bodied. Caramel, nice chilli burn, good use of chilli. A bit cardboardish maltyness. Decent.

Bottle 50 cl at Gothenburg Beer Festival 2013 (Haket), Sunday, sampled on September 8, 2013.Clear dark red to black color, brown head. Sweet, malty, alcohol scent. Malty, sweet, chili taste. Chocolate, chili aftertaste. Chili on the tongue. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
