This beer is brewed using the traditional bottom-fermentation method, which requires long aging. This is why the bouquet you sense is so rich. Combined with the spiciness of chili, it is a perfect match for desserts and exquisite dishes made of noble meats.
A great choice for those who, apart from the perfect classics, are still looking for new flavors and sophisticated, rare combinations of flavors.

Smak jest to typowy porter z ciemnymi karmelowymi smakami a następnie pojawia się intensywny smak chilli, słodkie z kontrą chilową Nagazowanie średnio niskie, ciało średnio ciężkie , pikantne od chili, alkohol niewyczuwalny, finisz pikantny Ogólnie porter taki sobie ze smakiem chilli

Polish imperial porter flavoured with chili peppers, thanks Meeki for sharing. Pale greyish beige, mousy, opening head on a very dark copper-bronze beer, dark enough to be perceived as black. Aroma of Ersatz chocolate, hard caramel, autumn leaves, lots of iron (even in a ‘rusty’ way), old tea bags, nutmeg, very ferrous spring water, brown paper bag, old dusty walnuts, white pepper. Restrainedly sweetish onset, very light dry beef stock cube-like umami accent, medium carb, smooth mouthfeel (actually a bit on the thin side for this kind of beer); nutty and non-sweet-caramelly maltiness with a clear and rather annoying metallic ‘zing’ to it, leading to a dryish finish with only very mild and brief chili heat, even overpowered by a herbal, leafy hop bitterness… I assume this is a Baltic porter of sorts (so a strong black lager) but even when viewed like that, it suffers from insufficient malt thickness and a quite strong metallic aspect in comparison with the classics in the genre. As for that chili: if even a standard dosage of hop bitterness manages to overpower the chili heat, then clearly there is not enough chili heat in here, at least not for me. Disappointing - and anything but grand.

Butelka. Ciemnobrązowe, piana szybko opadła do obwódki. Wącham, wącham i nic nie czuję. Aromatu praktycznie brak. Coś tam się pojawiło z czasem, jakieś pumperniklowe nuty są, ale bardzo mało intensywne. W smaku dość wytrawnie, smak mało intensywny, ale w przeciwieństwie do aromatu, coś czuć. Karmel, kawa zbożowa, trochę melanoidyn, lekka alkoholowość. Goryczka raczej niska. Chili pojawiło się po wypiciu 1/3 w postaci delikatnego drapania w gardło. Jak na porter bałtycki, bardzo wodniste. Very dark beer with ruby reflexes. Medium head. Spicy, acidic aroma with notes of dark chocolate. High sweetness, low bitterness. Spicy in throat from chili. High carbonation even deepens the effect. It’s quite original and drinkable if you like spicy food.

W zapachu kawa, w smaku również z delikatną nutą czekolady, ostrość papryczek pojawia się po chwili. Średni porter. Chili zbyt intensywne, narasta przy każdym łyku. Przy drugiej połowie butelki piwo staje sie męczące, ciężko było dopić. Nie trafiło w mój gust.
