Light golden with a white head. Aroma is lightly citrus. Medium body. Citrus with a bit of toasted malt in the flavor, maybe a bit of grass. Decent brew. Much better when I had it on draught than when bottled.

Bottled, from random bottle store in Melbourne, Victoria. Clear bronze colour, small head.Fruity dusty nose with faint grapefruit. Sweetish with clean, hard mouthfeel and medium body. Metal, dust, ripe fruit. Shallow and industrial. Marginally better than VB.

Bottle from Hippo Beers. Hazy golden body with a medium white head. Light carbonation. Nice lacing marks. Sweet aroma of tinned pear, caramel and soft pale malt. Flavour of creamy pale malt, tinned oranges and sweet corn. Slightly buttery. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Fizzy carbonation. Overly sweet and a bit boring.

33cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours golden with a very thin head. The nose has cake mixture and soft citrus notes which I’m struggling to pin a particular fruit. The taste has oranges against a good bran backbone. The palate is close to medium bodied with a crispy texture and a nice zingy refreshing finish. Overall, a tasty pale ale, which goes slightly towards a bitter in style.

Bottled. An amber beer with a huge beige head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor has notes of malt, caramel, and hay, leading to a bitter finish.

On tap at the Hyde Park Hotel, Perth April 2012. Golden coloured with a slight white head and moderate carbonation. Light, grassy hop and sweet malt aroma. Flavour was similar with a touch of citrus thrown into the mix. Fine.

Memo to self - alan you do not like this pale ale. Wet blanket finish and this is even a poor example of that
