The starting beer is a classic Porter added with Tuscan Kentucky tobacco leaves, the same ones that are used to make traditional Italian cigars. The result is a very dark beer with very rich aromas of tobacco, spices and walnut husks. The mouthfeel and palate deliver roasty notes, with a slight acidity and the tobacco offers a peppery and almost hot feeling.

Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, smoke, tobacco, some peat. Flavour is light sweet with a dry and moderate bitter finish. Body is on the light side. Enjoyable.

Bottle, black beer, small head, aroma is malt, sweet, light fruit, and maybe tobacco? Taste is the same, bitter, dry, nice

Thuis uit een flesje, mooi flesje! Zwart, maar helaas geen schuim. Goed aroma, rook. Smaak vol, lichte rooksmaak. Ook een aangename zachte nasmaak. Jammer van het schuim, maar dat is wellicht mijn fout door iets te koud uitschenken.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Chocolate, ash, coffee and Tia Maria in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with chocolate, ash and coffee. Coffee burned aftertaste with Tia Maria. Expensive, but nice.

Bottle from Beerhawk. A dark brown/black coloured pour with virtually no head to speak of. Smokey, chocolate aroma. Tastes quite smokey, slightly malty and some chocolate, a little thin overall but still quite acceptable.

Bottle from Crafty Bottle. Lincoln. 6.5% abv. Black colour with no real head. Aroma is smokey and light chocolate. Taste smokey and bitter. Slightly rough body.

Draft - Light Roast and cocoa. Jet brown with a rich light brown head. Light Smoke, soft and sweet with a decent finish.
