“It’s a cruel, cruel world to face on your own. A heavy cross to carry along.” Bottle. Color: Hazy amber, thin white head. Taste: Mix of pretty strong hopbitterness, lightly malty sweetness, peppery notes and ripe tropical fruits. Long lasting finish. Full body, slightly below average carbonation. Very well balanced. Great beer.

0.33 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', bottled in May 2017. Hazy, orangeish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, fruity, rather resiny and minimally cheesy aroma of mango, orange jam, tangerine and lots of pine. Quite sweet, moderately bitter, rather fruity and resiny taste of mango, orange jam, tangerine, lots of pine and some honey, followed by a medium long, rather dry-bitter, resiny and slightly herbal-grassy finish. Medium to full body, creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really tasty, great hop juice, just maybe a bit too sweet and thick.
