Bottled. Deep brown colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is dark fruits, some roast, coffee, ashes, chocolate, mild figs as well. Flavour is plum, raisins, some alcohol, mild dark fruits, chocolate and some roasted tones. Smooth and in a nice balance.

Bottle. Clear, deep brown body under a small beige head. Nice aroma of dark malt, licorices and alcohol. Taste is sweet, smooth malt, licorices, hint of chocolate, bread, balanced bitterness and alcohol. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Nice one.

Bottle from Bierbazaar. Pitch black colour, lots of slimy flakes flaoting. Roasty nose, coffee, dark chocolate, some fruity hints. Taste is roasty, some notes of dried fruit, some light tartness. Something went wrong?

Ciemnobrązowe, jasna, całkiem gęsta kremowa piana. W aromacie wiśnie, śliwki, czekolada, kawa, karmel, w tle nuty warzywne jakby DMS? W smaku czekolada, kawa, śliwki, karmel, lekka paloność. Całkiem wysoka, przyjemna goryczka. Niskie wysycenie, ciało średnie. Gdyby nie ten dms byłoby całkiem przyzwoitym piwem.

Bottle, at Mungàt Ølgjerd. An unclear, dark brown beer with a small, dense, beige head. The aroma has roasted malts, some dark bread and a faint hint if licorice, with some burnt malts and alcohol. It's sweet and full-bodied, with some warmth and a smooth mouthfeel. Roasted malts, some burnt notes and alcohol, dark bread and a vague licorice touch in the flavor. Long finish. Not very complex this one, but super tasty. 180317

Big light amber bubbly-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish mineraly, dark malts, hay, roasted grain, toast, minerals, bark, licorice, alcohol, paper, soil, sour coffee, burnt rye bread. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish roasted, dark malts, toast, roasted grain, licorice, soil, hay, minerals, alcohol, dark sugar, rye bread, sour coffee. Medium bitterness, slightly sweet sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø- Langnes. Drukket på Bergstua. Svart. Medium høyt mokkafarget skum som daler fort. Litt lacing. Behagelig kaffearoma. Hint av røstet malt. Utmerket balanset smak av kaffe, lakris & røstet malt. Litt sjokolade i avslutningen. Topp-øl!

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. A medium sized fawn coloured head. Coal black in the glass. Decent lacing on the glass. Moderate aroma of earth, bread, and a bite of chocolate. Sweet taste of chocolate, liquorice, and bread. Warmth from the alcohol to a long-lived sweet malty ending, lightly roasted. Fine depth. Nice sipper without greater excitements. (Tromsø 08.06.2018).
