Trail is our German-style Pilsner. Featuring floor-malted barley and carefully selected European noble hops, Trail is lagered for an extended period of time. The resulting beer is crisp, snappy, and robustly flavored such that you can easily imagine enjoying it in the German countryside.

Can pour into shaker pint glass from the brewery. Appearance is clear, very pale yellow with trace sparkle, finger width fizzy white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is Pilsner malt, rich wheat cracker, cardboard. Taste is Pilsner malt, cardboard, earthy bitterness. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin, foamy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, strong, rich flavor but straightforward Pilsner.

Pours clear gold with a thick white head. Aroma of exceptionally dry malt. Taste has dry yeast notes. Palate has light spice and nutty notes, unusual for a pilsener. Eh.

Pours pale gold into a shaker. White head with little retention recedes to nothing. Earthy hay aromas. Sharp with sourdough and hay front to back. Sour fruit finish.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Clear yellow. Grainy, a bit vegetal, sweetish, corn, bitterish finish, light-bodied.

At a tasting, small quickly dissapearing bubbly head, quite clear palisjh orange color, aroma of wood, paper, strange hoppiness, dusty, citrus and vegetables flavor with some corny sweetness, light bitterness. Fair, nothing too exciting.

Can at bottleshare: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is soapy lemonish, grass. Taste is lightly grassy. Smooth. Lightly bitter. Not mindblowing.

Can from Session Craft Bar, Reykjavik. It pours very slightly hazy yellow with a small white head. The aroma is soft, doughy malts, bready, grass, hay and a touch of apricot. The taste is crisp, clean, quite delicate, soft, doughy, bread malt, cereal, nougat, grassy, hay, toasty grain and cereal with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. A classy lagerbier. Flavourful and crushable stuff.

Can. Cloudy pale yellow with small foamy white head, faint malt aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly hoppy taste, thin body, abrupt finish. Not as dry and clean as I would expect.
