Tap @ BBF 2019. Black. Roast, caramel, licorice and a hint of smoke in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with soft roast and licorice. Full bodied. Raisin, rye bread. Amandelspijs.

Draught @ Borefts 2019 Aroma has molasses, licorice and tobacco. Flavour has soy sauce, salty licorice and mild ashy notes. Odd raspberry notes in the middle of the glass. Too salty, not my thing.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with a medium sized creamy dark brown head that left decent lacing. The aroma was dark chocolate, honey and berry. The flavor was strong bourbon, a bit of red wine, a hint of coconut, strong maltiness, cocoa and berry jam. Long cocoa and bourbon finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth. Alcohol fairly well controlled.

2016 bottle. Darkest brown color with beige head. Aroma is deep chocolate, raspberry, bourbon, caramel, vanilla. Taste is chocolate, caramel, light roast, not too barrel heavy, raspberry sorbet, a touch soy sauce. Velvety moutfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Very tasty, though the raspberries are a tiny bit artificially.

Tap at the BeerTemple. Black with big brown head. Strong raspberries, roast, sweet bourbon, dark chocolate, soft coffee, maple, dark malts, fudge. Quite sweet, medium bitter and almost medium tart. Full bodied. Great.

Bottle at tasting. Black pour. Aroma of rich raspberry, chocolate, licorice, malt and full bourbon vanilla. Taste of rich zesty raspberry, chocolate, caramel, fruit core, bourbon, oak and a fruity vanilla finish. Very nice.

@Tasting BeerCon, bottle shared, black with brown lacing, aroma lots of bourbon, chocolate, dark malts, cacao, nice, Taste is soft, roasted, a bit thinner as expected, licorice, bourbon, chocolate, some red berries, sharp alcoholic, lovely bourbon, although could have been a bit thicker, still nice.
