Ale brewed with feijoas & aged in wine barrels. A beer that is developing cult like status in NZ and around the world due to its quality and scarcity. Feijoa is New Zealand’s second national fruit and this is surely a one of a kind beer! Be sure to savour the flavour.

Sample @ CBC. Sweet, flowery and earthy with a strange herbal thing going on.

Draught @ CBC’15
Aroma has citrus, urinal cake and some cereal. Also some vinegar. Flavour has vinegar, citrus, some leathery red wine tones and mild milky tones in the finish. Not the most typical sour red, this has somewhat strong citrusy tones balancing.

Bottle courtesy of nate2g, thanks! Hazy pale yellow color. I am told that this smells like feijoa, and I believe it. Taste is fruity and softly sour, almost taste like a tart version of kiwis. Nice stuff.
