A most glorious discovery was made some time ago in faraway Wales, thanks to the lovely people at Team Toxic, a bulky vessel and a lot of rocket fuel.

The Space Race continues! We mixed in fresh basil with juicy orbs of sweet and sour goodness of planetary proportions.

Hype thrusters engaged!

Can sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Odi. Deep red, pink head. Lots of cherry and basil, lacto, yogurt, sourish and a bit sweetish. Good.

Nice light pink fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, deep reddish color. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish fruity, red berries winegum, fruit stones, grass, minerals, bark, soda powder, dried fruits, soil, hints of butterscotch. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, soda powder, sour dark berries, minerals, fruit stones, hay, grass, bark, oak, berry skin, soil, paper. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Oh, I like this! It's exactly what is advertised - fresh, slightly unripe cherries, basil, salt, some other mineral components. Nice! 4.1

Murky burgundy red, pink head. The aroma is - guess what - baisl, with its warm herbal notes, and cherry close behind. Just a hint of lactic, not much really. Taste: way more simple lactic tartness blending and balancing the sweet fruit: clean lactic and clean fruit - you get that simple sweet and sour profile, easy drinking and accessible. The basil is there too, keeping it from falling into the soft drink pit. Overall, an easy drinking and understandable to anyone... err... drink. Hard to call it a beer, or even a Berliner.
