Norwegian Farmhouse Kveik IPA.
Cooking up this collaboration beer with Wicked Barrel was kinda like a trip.
We started off our journey on top of the small, new kveik bandwagon.
After that we went a bit back to Ancient times, for some fat bags of spelt malt.
And then we settled Down Under, bringing in funky, tropical hops.
Not the smartest move, going in blind like that, but that fits our profile.
Besides, without courage, taking risks and a bit of madness, you can’t really discover New Lands.

Sampled at Borefts 2019, Friday. A murky yellow beer. Aroma of mild sweet pineapple and grapefruit juicy, yeast. Taste of dry grassy and juicy bitter hops, citrus, tangerine.

Tap at Borefts, 2019. Poured a hazy straw colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, dank, green hop, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a dry, crisp, citrus fruit, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with moderate to soft carbonation.

Tap @ BBF 2019. Yellow. Grassy citric aroma. Dry but still juicy flavor. Grassy, citrus. Soft cellar notes, Hint of tartness.

Tap. Hazy pale yellow color with white head. Aroma is vanilla, yeasts, biscuits, strawy. Taste is the same. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbobation. Not great, it's quite mealy.

Borefts XI Day 2 . Keg. Hazy yellow gold beer, small white head. Smooth and fairly dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Thin dry malts, thin dry creamy sweetness. Modest hop spice. Bitterish orange peel and a touch of tropical fruits. Tasty but ghe the thin dry palate is off putting.
