Sample of both 2013 and 2012 bottles at (Hopp)Kurtkeller 016: Cantillon-tastic 01 on 10/11/2014. The beer is a slightly hazy pinkish-red color with a thick and foamy pinkish-white head that dissipates slowly. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of funky cherries, oak and yeast. Light-bodied with flavors of tart cherries and berries, funky yeast and vinous oak. The finish is fruity with a lingering sour cherry and apple aftertaste. Really good all around.
