We let this robust Imperial Stout develop it’s deep complexity while resting in rum barrels, and added flaked coconut and vanilla beans for an extra sensory boost. Flavors of dark chocolate, tropical coconut, and caramelized sugar combine over the medium-full body, while the rum-soaked oak barrels add a warming spicy depth to the finish. Savor the voyage.

Dziwne. Tych dodanych i obiecanych rzeczy nie czuje. Moze kokos. W smaku wiecej juz sie dzieje, slodkie mocno i czuc rumowe klimaty. Plus pumpernikel

First real coconut beer I love? Coconut chunks and coconut forward done well. Tons of cinnamon and vanilla rum back.

On tap at Pure Project, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with rum barrels upfront, followed by coconut and more subdued vanilla. Flavour is intensely dominated by the rum, but accentuated beautifully by the coconut and to a lesser extent, the vanilla. Complex and elegant, with such deep layers. Wonderful.
