On tap in Berlin on Sunday 14th May 2023. Deep red body, off-white crown. Caramel/malty nose and initial taste, light hop content giving a hint of bitterness but the malts rule this one.

Bottle. Deep amber-brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, light roast. Taste is caramel, fudge, a bit mineraly. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Quite nice!

Bottle. Great dark brown color with lasting fine-bubbled head. Nose of caramelly malt. Quite sweet, very good roasty toasty notes: nutty chocolate (not quite coffee) caramel. That is a fantastic wee heavy. Not too bitter, enough roast/malt notes to balance the remaining sweetness.

Bottle picked up from Edeka, Stein Park Freising, and consumed at home Attenkirchen, Tuesday 18th June 2019 whilst listening to Steve Lamaq on 6 Music and cooking a Thai Red Curry. Pours conker brown with a light tan head, toffee and a little chocolate (dark cocoa powder) on the nose. Malty and with some toffee in the mouth, dark brown soft sugar (demerara I guess). It's fine if a little one dimensional.

Men god uansett.
