Clear copper-golden beer, still with a transparant rim. Bit sweeter barnyard/straw/horseblanket notes. Green leaves, but 'basil' would be taking it too far. Quite acidic initially, then more floral notes, rosehips, leafy green herbs (again...) Acidthinning, wry, really tart. Good lambic, bit different, but far from mind-blowing.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is basil, minty, some dill, very interesting. Taste is minty, very interesting Japanese herb character, fermented fish breakfast sauce. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Very interesting!

Poured from a 375 ml bottle. Aroma is floral and herbal forward with some definite leafy notes to it. Faint lemon and minty notes with faint basil, anise and pickled vegetable notes. Faint oak. Pours a somewhat clear, gold color with a small, thick, white head that recedes to a small, creamy film that lingers. Faint lacing and no legs. Flavor is somewhat acidic with a light sweetness and a dry finish. Light oak notes. A strong herbal flavor with mint, basil, lemon verbena, chive and a rangpur lime note in the finish. Faint floral notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an interesting beer. It doesn't have a ton of the developed lambic funk that I hope for in my lambics and instead tastes rather young. The herbal and floral notes are quite unique and not like any other lambic so its a fun beer to try.

Bottle - pours gold white head - nose/taste of oak, capers, mint, herbal toothpaste, lemon tartness, cinnamon. Medium body. Oddest of the unique lambics.
