ABV: 11.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, cocoa, cherry, sweet malt, rich. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dark chocolate, cocoa, cherry, sweet alcohol - cognac. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy and sticky, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210529]

Svart med beige skum. Lukter kirsebær og kaffe. Smaker søte kirsebær. Søt og fyldig. Litt sherry feeling. Liker denne godt.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - jet black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - deep, rich chocolate, prunes and cherries in booze. Taste - cherry liqueur and dark chocolate cake. Prunes again. Palate - full bodied and creamy in texture. Boozy, rich finish. Overall - a liqueur beer. Nice.

Can from Vocation Brewery, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. A black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Sweet, chocolate, cherry, raspberry aroma. Tastes quite intense and very sweet too, rich chocolate, cherry, kirsch and some raspberry. A very pleasant imperial stout, shame it is so sweet though.

440ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Shared with Finn. Black as pitch in the glass, spotty lacing from a bubbly, mostly remaining tan-head. Inviting smell of nutshell and cherries. Well blended taste profile of cherries, nuts, and earthy chocolate. Lightly roasted ending with lingering cherries. Well bodied. Nice beer, just a tad too sweet in the long run (Tromsø 24.04.2021).

Spandert av Rune. Delt med ham i WCveien. Svart. Mokkafarget skumring. Aroma av mørk sjokolade & bær. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken kirsebærlikør. Lett tørr avslutning.Utmerket dessertøl.
