This carrot cake inspired, mixed-culture sour beer was aged in rye whiskey barrels for eight months with the addition of carrots and carrot cake spices.
Upfront notes of warming spices including cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, and vanilla are balanced by a fruity, earthy funk, oak tannins, and cream cheese frosting-like lactic tang.
