Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a smooth, juicy light boiled sweet, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. --- Beer merged from original tick of Waitangi Dawn on 23 Jan 2023 at 19:59 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5. Cask at the Queens Head, Stourbridge. Pours dull gold with a small head. Aroma is sweet tropical hop jelly. Taste has tropical fruit hop throughout with a grainy finish. A little watery and flat.
