Mörk kopparfärgad och klar vätska. Kakig, brödig och karamellig arom. Lätt karamellig inledning som övergår till mera av en mjuk fruktkaka i smak. Något lätt blommig beska.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 29th February 2020. Orangey reddish brown with loose off-white foam and full lacing. Biscuit and caramel malt aroma. Malty and bitter simultaneously in-mouth and a finish of smooth maltiness and intense grassy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel and medium body.

29/8/2019. Cask at Woodrow Wilson, Carlisle. Pours mid red-brown with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of toffee, sweet malt, biscuit, fruit, hops, bread and fruit cake. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight creamy texture, average to soft carbonation. Enjoyed this.

Small sample from gravity cask. I did have this before from bottle when in the Lake District some 10 years ago. Mostly clear reddish color. Aroma's: sweetish, fruit candies, red fruit. Flavor moderate sweet with some bitterbess, candies. Light bodied. Finishes with light grain, moderate bitter.

Handpull cask at the Beer Hall, Staveley. Amber and clear with a small uneven off-white head. Malty aroma with additional notes of redcurrant, milk chocolate, cherry candy. Taste is bittersweet and a trifle metallic. The bittering hop asserts itself fairly aggressively right at the finish. More cherry and a touch of wood shavings in the aftertaste. There isn't so much character to this, but it's well made, and the simplicity grows on me throughout the sip.

Cask at the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a crystal clear reddish amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, nutty, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a light, watery, malt, dry light pepper spice, light fruit, light metallic hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
