Draught at Cobolis fourth anniversary festival. Lightly cloudy, deep gold colored. AROMA- citrusy, vegetable, lunch with tomato sauce. FLAVOR- neutral, moderately bitter, citrusy, malt, woody. Medium bodied. Not very good.

Creamy white good mostly lasting heqad. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hopy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Hazy pale golden color with medium white head. Aroma: citrus - lime, pomelo, tangerine. Taste: citrus - pomelo, tangerine, traces of chlorophenol. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate to high bitterness. Good but nothing special.

0,5l bottle from Yeme Grocery Store in Bratislava. Head is big, white, long lasting. Colour is pale gold, light hazy. Aroma is orange, tangerine, bit floral. Taste is medium malty base, orange, tangerine, bit red berries, caramel, dry on the palate, nice bitterness, soft carbonation, good balanced beer, enjoyed.

Vo vinoteke Juzanka. Krasna silna jasminova vona. Medova kalna farba husta pena. Chut pomerne horka postupne sa straca. Potom kvetinkova slabsia.

500ml. bottle as part of a trade with @Cuso, many thanks. @home, 26/05/2021 [#3.985 Global - #31 Slovakia - #1 Cierny Kamen (My Slovakian brewery #14)] Unclear amber with a big thick head. Good lacing. Aroma: bread, caramel and floral hops. Taste: resinous hops, caramel malts and light honey. Medium carbonation. Medium bitter finish. Ok. Next one please!

Kurz zum Namen: In so ziemlich jeder slawischen Sprache heißt die Oma Baba (kurz für cz: babička oder russ: бабушка/babushka oder ukr: бабуся/babusya oder serb: баба/baba...). Wie auch auf Deutsch verwendet man das Wort aber auch für alte Weiber allgemein. Die Baba Jaga (polnisch, tschechisch, slowakisch, serbokroatisch) oder auch Баба-Яга (russisch, ukrainisch, bulgarisch, weißrussisch, mazedonisch) ist eine Märchenfigur aus dem slawischen Raum, vergleichbar mit unserer bösen Hexe. Dass man ein Bier nach einer solchen Berühmtheit benennt, ist nicht weiter verwunderlich. Was ich schade finde, ist, dass es nirgends beschrieben wird, was das Bier mit der bösen Hexe verbindet. Zum Bier selbst kann ich allerdings nicht viel sagen: es ist ein klassisches, mittelmäßiges APA mit leicht röstmalzigen Noten und einem deutlichen Hopfenaroma, das ich nicht genau definieren kann ein bisschen Zitronengras und Limette.

50cl bottle. A clear deep golden beer with a white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, flowers, caramel. Taste of resinous bitter hops, citrus, pine, caramel, long bitter finish.

Bottle from BeerStation. Malty and hoppy aroma and taste, citrus fruit, light caramel, medium bitter. Medium body, malty and hoppy bitter finish. Ok.

Tap at Alzbetka. Easy drinking, mostly hops centered, earthy resiny citrusy hops. Rather thin, med-med-high carbonation. Light fusel alcohols impart an unpleasant harshness, but not too much. Overall good.
