Collaboration Milkshake Double IPA with our Portland dudes, Great Notion! We've loaded up this juicy hop concoction with Nelson, Citra cyro, Simcoe and a hint of Eureka to bring the dank fire and set the stage for "Northern Lights" terpenes. The result is surprisingly a bright citrus and perfumey honeydew melon character, pairing perfectly with added creaminess from milk sugar and raw oats in the grist.

MBCC. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and moderate hoppy - fruity and citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rater bitter finish. 100519

On tap at Gourmet Haus in Redwood City. I will keep trying them, but I still miss the plot on the lactose IPAs. Doesn't seem like the right marriage to me as the hops fade to the background.
