Dark brown colored, medium creamy tan head. Aroma is toffee, brown sugary, dried fruit, strong bourbon aroma with some barrel, some chocolate. Taste is very sweet, malty, toffee, loads of bourbon, vanilla and dried fruits, some chocolate, bit toasted, some alcohol with a warming finish. Full bodied, soft carbonation, oily to sticky. Excellent stuff! (bottle, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

Bottle shared with Marte. Opaque brown color, beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, firm to heavy bourbon, brown malts, lightly brown candy sugar notes. Quite heavy but quite good. 7-3-8-4-15.

Bottle @ Mr Orla Going Barley, Ratebeer Odense. Hazy brown with a lasting white head. Nutty aroma with caramel, cherry, vanilla and dried fruit. Sweet malty and fruity flavour.

[ As Lervig Barley Wine 2017 BA Bourbon ].Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, sweet malt, cookie, cake, dried fruit, bourbon - vanilla - cake. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, dark malt, cake, alcohol, dried fruit, sweet malt, bourbon - vanilla - alcohol - cake.
