Botella 33 Cl tomada en 1420 León 29..09.. 2018. (r145) embotellada 30..10..2017. Fcpref 30..10..2027 en chapa. Color marrón oscuro muy turbio con espuma beige oscuro. Sabores y aromas que destacan sobretodo a bourbon. Maderas empapadas en licor, suaves especias, caramelos tostados, dulce pero no en exceso, no es tan empalagosa como las demás Barley wine. Maltas tostada y caramelizadas. Cuerpo intenso con gran sensación alcohólica desde el principio. Licorosa espesa y densa pero no en exceso, lo justo para no hacerla demasiado empalagosa. Fina y sedosa en boca y con bastante sabor. Un auténtico cervezon, para repetir sin duda alguna.

Aroma is sweet with bourbon and vanilla. Flavour is sweet with vanilla, wood and sticky malt. Alcohol stings a little but not in a disturbing way. Quite what you’d expect by the specifications. Drinkability is far from good.

Bottle @ Ratebeer Odense, 2018. SFO, Peter, Halling, Scheffel and MrOrla. 3 men remaining. Pours amber with a small white head. Dark fruit, mainly plum, raisins and chocolate. Fruity and Smooth. Deep and vinous.

Bottle 330 ml, from Bierhalle Deconinck. Shared with Max and JFK10000. Pours dark brown with beige head. Nutty, caramel, some chocolate, some barrel, some dried fruit, sweet. Nice smooth texture. Full bodied.

On tap. Pitch black body with a thin brown head. Aroma and taste of cocoa, chocolate, whiskey, caramel, nutmeg and booze. Very complex brew, I like it a lot.
