Can sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks Lior D. Lovely cloudy deep red-purple, pink head. Pickled vegetables, a bit of butter, berries, candy, lacto, sourish. Disappointing.

20.07.2019, 1 pint can @ home:
Nice light pink bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head, deep reddish color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, fruit stones, dusty cellar, grass, bark, vegetables, soda powder, light malts, minerals, cereal, hints of sour dark berries. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish grassy, fruit stones, berry skin, grass, minerals, bark, old cellar, soda powder, light malts, vegetables, sour dark berries. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish grassy mouthfeel. Meh!

Can. Murky purple color with with white head. Aroma is blackberries, blackcurrants, marshmallows, lactic. Taste is the same, cotton candy-like. Milky mouthfeel with low carbonation. A bit sweet for a Berliner Weisse, not for me.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours moderately hazy dark ruby red/pink/purple color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy pink head with solid retention, that reduces to a minimal spotty lace cap that lingers. Minimal spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge juicy/sour/tart/tangy blackberry, black currant, fruit skin/seed, plum, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and biscuit dough; with lighter notes of peppercorn, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of blackberry, black currant, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge juicy/sour/tart/tangy blackberry, black currant, fruit skin/seed, plum, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and biscuit dough; with lighter notes of peppercorn, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy blackberry, black currant, fruit skin/seed, plum, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of blackberry, black currant, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/sourness, and tangy fruit balance; with minimal puckering flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness, tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited Berliner weiss! All around fantastic omplexity, robustness, and balance of blackberry, black currant, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish; not overly lactic. very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Amazing balance between hugely juicy/jammy fruit and Lacto complexity; with a nice pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness from crisp acidic/tangy dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example.
