This oat milk stout is made with locally roasted, ethically sourced coffee. Lactose sugar provides a sweet and creamy mouthfeel to balance the bitterness of the French roast coffee. The addition of cacao nibs creates velvety chocolate notes in this surprisingly light beer. Mocha Stout- you don't have to be a coffee drinker to love this beer.

Very dark brown colour with big fluffy head. Lots of bittersweet mocha notes. Punchy flavour. Lasting bitterness in the aftertaste.

Aromas are the standard cocoa, roast, dark malt and a little mineral. Flavors are like nose, good balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Some coffee in there. Slightly sweet in the finish. Nice dark beer but nothing special.

Can shared at pre-Kingsday tasting. Opaque black color, small to average beige head. Aroma and flavor is malts, dark malts, mocha, light coffee, slight sweetish hints in between. Suitable light body and carbonation. Quite nice.

Canned 05/27/20. Pours nicely dark reddish brown black, with a stable light brown head. Smells nicely of roast and lightly sweet coffee. Smooth mouthfeel, plenty body for the ABV. Taste is fairly sweet, mostly roasty, and with a good hit of creamy coffee.

Mocha and roast. Cacao. Good balance and pleasant little beer. Black pour with quickly disappearing head. No lacing. Coffee bitter finish with some tang, light sweetness. Can.
