Taster courtesy of Thomas, bit thanks. black color, very small very dark coffee colored head. smells nutty, hazelnuts, peanuts, vanilla, nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of berry notes, sweetness, blueberries, nutty, vanilla, bitter chocolate, cocoa, doughy. finishes lightly vanilla bitter with notes of berries, vanilla and some bitter chocolate. quite nice one, smell was not that exciting, but taste was very nice. overall quite good to drink.

Can courtesy of Geraint and Helen, we're sat at our posh Le Manoir room on the day of our wedding, yep after 24 years we've decided to get married. We're listening to classical music, Saturday 5th January 2018. Pours black with a dirty burnt toffee head. I thought that the nose would be full on peanut etc but from about 5 foot away I can smell coffee, coffee and yet more coffee. When you close in on it, the more familiar traits associated with it's siblings starts to show and make no mistake it is a wonderful beer. However the increased abv does slightly dull the impact of the peanut, chocolate etc, ok so that maybe isn't a bad thing and it's probably leading to a more refined and subtle beer that's even more of a sipper than the Yellow Belly and Sundae variants. I like it, I like it a lot but might need to obtain another and try alongside the rest of the family. A9 A4 T8 P5 Ov17 4.3
