Nut brown colour, tiny white head. Smokey, woody aroma. Medium-bodied. Alcohol, smoke, wood and some boozey notes. Very drinkable. Good. Vasa Sessions.

Amber brown colour, some small white head. Aroma is smoked, caramel, wood and some sweet malty tones. Nice one. Flavour is a lovely blend of the same, sweet malts meets a gentle and nice smoky wooden touch with a bit of some toffee. Lovely. Wow.

Keg at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear mahogany colour, small head. Tarry, meaty, junipery smoke aroma. Mid sweet with near full body and rounded mouthfeel. Dark, sweet bread, juniper, wood and then aquavit heat in a mid bitter finish. Arch-Scandinavian style winter warmer. Klæbo class!

Can to tall tulip.
To be honest there isn't much difference between this and my take on "Norwegian Wood" other than the aroma is beefed up with more scents of juniper and smoked malts; flavor might be a touch more smokier then the texture is just a wee touch smoother but not too much.
Of course I would return to this beer.

Plenty of smoke and some caramel. Dark brown pour without much head. Light caramel finish. Tap.

Tap @MBCC 2024, Red Session. Clear amber, white head. Woody, meaty smoke, caramel and malt aroma. Sweet smoky and caramely flavour. Bitter smoky and hoppy finish.

MBCC. Clear amber brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dark fruit and smoked wood. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. 110524

Amebr with off white head - Smoked malt aroma with some fruity tones - Smoked malt body with some wood and hints of herbs - The smoked malt flavours goes into the finish - This was nice, but a little to much smoke for my taste
