Bottle at home. Pours a hazy deep reddish brown colour with a small light beige head. Aroma of phenols, raisins, acetone, game meat, rye bread, chocolate and brown sugar. Flavour of raisins, phenols, milk chocolate, grass and rye bread. Has a slick and silky mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness.

330ml bottle, lot nr #452 0879, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Slowly diminishing off-white head, clear ruby-brown body, hazy last pour, spotty lacing on the glass. Inviting smell of caramel malts, mid-sweet and earthy. Caramel, dried fruit, earth, and moderate candy sweetness to the flavour character. Caramel fruity ending, not overly sweet. Pretty nice beer with storing potentiality. Celebrating van der Poel's 10000m world record 12.32.95 (Tromsø 14.02.2021).
