Abandon All Hope is an overwhelming bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout. Rich notes of chocolate and oak on a pillowy blanket of vanilla come from a year spent in Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, Heaven Hill 10 year, and Jack Daniels Single Barrel Select barrels and aging on fresh vanilla beans.

On tap at the brewery. Black with brownish head. Chocolate, dark fruit, vanilla, intensive bourbon. Smooth. Sweet. Medium to full bodied.

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours black with small tan head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong vanilla bean, cocoa, roast. Slick body, chocolate, vanilla, roast, marshmallow, nice sweetness, enjoyed this.

At Hopishop 2017. Aroma of rich vanilla, caramel fudge, maple and cream. Flavor has caramel fudge, maple, vanilla, bourbon booze, soft spices, chocolate and cream. Balanced, yet very extreme, this is fantastic.
