12oz bottle pours out amber topped with a sand head. Nose is nice big whiskey barrel booze molasses pit fruit heavy sweet malts and spice. Taste is more of the nice barrel booze notes vanilla spice and rich caramel pit fruit malts.

Bottle. Light brown pour. Aroma of strong rye whiskey, ripe fruit, raisin, oak, vanilla and molasses. Taste has ripe fruit, oaky vanilla, smooth rye whiskey, raisin, caramelised malt and mild bitter piney hop. Raisiny whiskey finish. Good stufff, very tasty.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty woody spicy caramel aroma with hints of whiskey. Fruity malty spicy woody whiskey and caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty woody caramel finish.

12oz bottle courtesy of joeneugs, thanks man! It pours a sort of murky mahogany body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma dishes up molasses, raisins, prunes, sticky pine infused malts and a bit of booze near the end of the draw. The taste is a rich mix of spicy rye bread and resiny pine hops as well as some molasses and then a bit of prunes and raisins. This is rich and good and pleasing from front to back and seems very barleywine like. Nice, boozy, resiny sipper, yum.

Bottle. Dark mahogony beer with a tan head. Rich malt aroma with light toffee and light smoke. Smoke and barrel notes (whiskey? Bourbon?) flavor with caramel/toffee. Medium-plus bodied. Smoke and bourbon/whiskey linger with caramel/toffee.

Draft at the Bistro West Coast Barrel Aged Beer Festival. Pours dark brown/black with a creamy beige head. Aroma of dark fruit and rye. Full bodied. Flavor is dark fruit and rye. It’s pretty tasty stuff.
