Bitterer, modrig heller Antrunk.

(Keg at the brewpub, 20130513) The beer poured golden and very hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had herbalness and mildly grain. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, herbalness, malts, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was mostly bitter. Aroma was a too weird for me.

Little cloudy pale yellow beer, nice creamy white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: grains, stable, bit herbal, wordt, cooked grains, pretty faint. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet in the start, bit fruity, peaches, some grains, herbal. Aftertaste: grains, sweet wort, nice hoppy bitterness.

Beer No. 11 on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark.
Draught at the brewpub. Hazy yellow/golden coloured, small white head, odd eldery nose. Moderate malty, grainy and light fruity with notes of elder and short dryish finish. Interesting but something is missing.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy pale golden, almost no head - looks awful! Grassy nose with rubber behind. Dry and slim with some unpleasant garbage esters. hard, clean and simplistic mouthfeel provides no refuge from the vague off flavours. How can this happen in Bavaria?
