19/9/2020. Bottle at the Prague GP bottle-share, courtesy of Idiosynkrasie, cheers Boris! Pours clear dark gold with a bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma of grain, fruit, herbs, caramel and light vanilla. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, slightly grainy, pale malty and fruity hoppy aroma, hints of melon, a touch of lychee. Taste is Sweet-ish, minimally grainy, pale malty, fruity hoppy, hints of melon, a touch of mandarine and lychee, minimally bitter and grassy hoppy finish. Minimally creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft carbonation. Not as grainy as most other Helle[s], decent hoppiness. OK.

Thanks a lot to Erzengel for that 0,33 l bottle. Dark golden in the glass, one finger head, a lot of visible smaller sediments floating around. Caramel with citrus smell. Taste starts grassy grainy, some citrus and fresh hop. Slick and inconspicuous.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is bready yeast, sweet sugar icing. Taste is yeast, bready, a bit herbal-grassy hops. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation.

A hop forward dark yellow lager. Everything with the malt bill is pleasant, but I think the hops have a slightly harsh bitterness. And I think the beer might be 10 months old, so it’s probably better fresh. Craft beer store dresden

On tap in Mainz 2018 Smoot mild beginning. Fresh and fruity, mild and caramelly with a nice back. Refreshing, caramelly with grainy moderate bitter aftertaste. Nice.

Sampled @ Trierer Bier Festival 2018. A clear golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of grainy malt, straw, cereals. Taste of moderate grainy malt, straw, fresh mild spicy and grassy hops.
