500ml bottle from Beers of Europe: poured into an old stemmed 0.2 litre Pilsner glass I like to taste German beers in. This is the first beer of a tasting session I am having with myself tonight: just me and the dog! Very pale: light golden body, bright, clean and clear, on top a snow white head of bubbles with each pour. Odourless, gets a score of 3 for an none smelling Lager/Pils/Hell. Taste is both of grains and metallic flavours, corn in a tin! Bitter finish but otherwise not a lot going on. Might be fine in a Beer Garden with the sun on your back but it’s a wet cold winters evening here and the beer has done nothing for me except make me ’burp’ because of the carbonation within it’s make-up.

Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Clear pale golden, rich head. Grainy nose with notes of grass. Fairly sweet with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Grainy malt, notes of saccharine and hay. Low-medium bitterness.

500 ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Aromas of classic German pils, light spice, mineral note, light cooked veg. Taste is light lemon, light spice. Refreshing and well made.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with gentle bubbles and a nicely proportioned head. Nose - light spice and metallic notes. Dry malt. Taste - light spice and green vegetable and dry finish. Palate - light bodied with a light but creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - lovely balanced and elegant beer. Helles but a nod to pils.

Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with pronounced estery notes. Mildly bitter and paperlike finish. An OK Helles but nothing really extraordinary.
