Deep black with a ruby sparkle, the fruity decorated stout awaits you under a mocha-tinted foam, which is a harbinger of multi-layered toasted aromas of chocolate and coffee. This is complemented by stone fruit in the nose and delicately sour cherry on the palate. The charming carbonic acid provides elegance to the monumental body. The reverberation is typically tart - with cherry magic.

Letzte Woche gab es wieder ein neues Stiegl Hausbier mit dem Titel Tollkirsche. Solche sind natürlich nicht verbraut (sonst wäre das ein kurzes Vergnügen), sondern normale Kirschen, welche in ein klassisches Stout integriert werden. Beides lässt sich im Bier gut finden: Stoutbier und Kirschsaft. Allerdings treten diese eher nebeneinsander auf und erzeugen keinen harmonischen Gesamteindruck. Das Bier ist durchaus interessant, aber mir kommt es vor, dass man einfach etwas tolles neues liefern wollte, ohne auf die Verschmelzung der Geschmachksnuancen zu sehr zu achten.
