Mead with a distinctive, piquant taste. Produced with the addition of raspberry and dog-rose fruits.
Produced from honey mash from nectarous honey and water, with the proportions 1 part honey to 0.5 part water. It is matured for several years to stabilise it and make it completely clear. Alcohol content 16%.

Small bottle (Thanks, Basia - you came through in the end). Earthy, fruity raw honey and alcohol aroma. Chestnut brown color. Smooth sweet honey flavor with hint of raspberry in the finish. Full bodied. Lives up to the hype - wonderful.

Bottle at home. Brandy like color with no head. Very intense dark honey, berries, sherry. Full sticky mouthfeel. Very sweet taste, lasting honey, flowers, raspberries. Long aftertaste. Hands down best mead I ever had.

Bottle thanks to pepsican - also shared by Steve. Pours reddish amber. Nose/taste of caramel apple, fresh raspberry puree, raw honey nectar and vanilla. Ultra smooth and delicious. Sweet finish with mild alcohol burn. Full mouth feel.

Bottle @ Dan’s house, courtesy of Armin. Huge thanks! Dark caramel, orange brown appearance. Quite rich, raspberry, somewhat spicy, nice honey aroma. Very rich, syrupy mouth feel. Rich, almost cinnamon like spicy, raspberry, super rich honey flavor.

0.5l bottle @ RBNAG11. Pours a lovely woody-nutty-red body. Fantastic aroma with wood, tons of honey and some nice horse-like hints in the background. The flavors are sweet and extremely nice! Wood, raisins-peal, cherries?, straw and it's just a fantastic flavor bomb! I'm shocked how good this sweet and sticky stuff actually can taste. Three thumbs up!

750 ml bottle from Systembolaget. Red, clear liquid wit no head. Aroma of raw sugars, honey, alcohol and some raspberry. Taste is sweet and tastes a lot of honey, no alcohol at all. No bitterness or sourness. Medium to full bodied with no carbonation and really sticky mouthfeel. Extremely well tasting, best mead I’ve ever had.

JaBier done gave me diabeetus too! This Mead is a clear reddish-orange color. Sticky coating on the glass. Honeycomb aroma with notes of berries. Rich and somewhat syrupy body with flavors of sweet honey, mildly tart fruit and a touch of liqueur which keeps it from becoming cloying. Even with that however this is definitely a sipper, a very enjoyable sipper. The finish coats the tongue and leaves a lingering sweet honey aftertaste. Very good all around.
