Red Rye IPA 6.6% Rye thrives in the harshest conditions and comes to life in Cardinal Sin, a spicy and rugged IPA with fruity, citrus, and herbal hop notes balanced with the dry spiciness of the rye, making the beer aggressive yet comforting to bolster against whatever the winter winds may bring

Sample courtesy of Grumbo. Cheers! Drunk after Ipswich committed the cardinal sin of getting a penalty and missing it, only to concede one and losing the game half an hour later. Aroma of dry fruits , rye bread, malt loaf with a hint of spice. Slight carbonation but the flavour really follows through nicely. This is very good.

5/8/2021. Can from The Dove Street Inn, Ipswich. Pours quite clear amber bronze with a frothy off-white to beige head. Nice aroma, citrus, rye, brown bread, toffee, spices, touch of herb. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Good.
