06-12-20 // 330ml bottle from Hoptimism in 2018. cellar reorganization. This seems to turned a bit sour despite a BBD till 2027. Rich decadent body underneath a mild sourish vinegar note. Not too bad actually but don’t think this was intended. --- Beer merged from original tick of Tsar vs Czar on 07 Dec 2020 at 21:36 - Score: 7. Bottle from BEER:shop, St. Albans. Black without head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and licorice. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with lots of warming alcohol. Boozy. Oily. Too sweet and boozy. 160218
