Bottle from Redh. Appearance - deep golden to amber. Generous white head. Nose - brown bread with some dried orange. Taste - just a hint of dried orange and a little cakiness. Brown bread again but a little astringent. Palate - close to medium bodied, light sweetness in the middle and slight astringency on the finish. Overall - ok.

Cask at the Crown, Horsell. Low key malty aroma. Medium brown. Thin bubbly white head clings to the glass with a few white scuffs topping the beer itself. Initially extremely low key malts. Some berry sourness then comes through and the malts also intensify. Underlying light bitterness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Astringent finish. Not doing too much for me. At least it's not overly bland.
