Chestnut with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of licorice, mint and other herbs. Sweet licorice and mint flavour. Rather interesting

Draught @ Olfestival Kobenhavn 2010, Carlsberg TAP1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, Copenhagen V, Denmark.Clear medium to dark amber brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, licorice - anis, toffee notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, anis - anis seed, spices. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100507]

100ml draught. Deep rosewood body. Initial huge amount of off-white foam. Sweet malty aroma with dark fruits. Candy sweet taste followed by spiced fruits and bittersweet anise towards the ending. Interesting brew (CBF, 06.05.2010).

From tap. Pours clear golden deep amber with a small tan head. Aroma is spiced, herbal and phenolic. Sweet malty, caramelish and spiced. Annis seed and dark roasted malt flavoured into a mild spiced and phenolic finish.

applause to midfyen and the guest brewer for being creative with this one! brown, smooth large yellow head aroma is spicy, licorice, anise, brown sugar, raisins.. flavor is sweet, licorice, anise, spices, warming, roasted stuff.

Clear mahogany with a medium beige head. Flavour had roasted malt and plenty of anise. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel, anise and yeasty notes. Finished sweet and spicy.
