Stone Dayfall Belgian White
Brewed with Bergamot orange peel and coriander
Brewed with Bergamot orange peel and coriander, Stone Dayfall Belgian White is quite possibly the finest beer ever created for drinking in the sunshine. While we may be known historically for our IPAs, our brewers have been brewing incredible Belgian-style beers for years, and they have a few Great American Beer Festival medals to show for them. This beer is brewed to be loved by Stone diehards as well as new fans who may prefer to stay away from double IPAs and imperial stouts.

Bottle from Market Basket. Lightly hazy light gold in color with a decent sized bubbly off white head. Spicy earthy with plenty of orangey citrus. Not bad.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell. Slightly cloudy orange-gold color with a thin bone white head that recedes steadily to a film. Stringy lace. Aroma of fruit, wheat and spice. Light-bodied with flavors of floral wheat, citrus, coriander and biscuit malt. The finish is herbal wheat and spiced fruit, Decent overall.

Decent wit, a little slight, offering up notes of grass, cut hay, clove, bergamot, and coriander, with a mild sweetness on the back end and a floral bitterness in the fade. Never reaches the depth of flavor you want, but still a crisp, easy-drinking pint.

Strong earthy coriander, lemon, wheat malt, orange peel, and hay aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate white head. Mildly sweet lemon, wheat malt, and moderately bitter coriander, orange peel, and weedy hay flavor. Good body. A coriander bomb.

Skunk and coriander nose in even proportions. Cloudy golden, thin head. Coriander, dank weed. Medium body, easy carbonation. About the kind of wit I would expect from a SoCal brewery known for hop forward beers. Great beer, but untraditional, to say the least.
