Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is nougat, liquorice, alcohol and some toffee tones with mild burnt wood too. Flavour is nectary, some nougat, liquorice, a bit intensified coca cola sweetness (close to the sweet crap they give you on diabetes tests at the hospital).

Can from Beerdome. Hazy very dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, nutty and cheap cocoa. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish. Has an artificial feel to it, but does improve a little after a while. 200721

440ml can. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, milk chocolate, toffee, caramel, toasted nuts, nougat, white coffee, hazelnut, some liquorice. Taste is sweet-ish and slightly bitter, chocolately and roasty dark malty, slightly nutty, notes of dark caramel, toasted nuts, hazelnut, nougat, white coffee, dark chocolate, a touch of liquorice; lingering, bitter roasty and slightly bitter hoppy finish. Creamy to viscous texture, smooth, soft, silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Well crafted, balanced, harmonious, mild - very nice.
