(Can) Black colour with brief, foamy, pale brown head. Malty, roasted, slightly vinous nose with notes of cacao, black bread, raisins, liquorice fudge, coffee and orange. Malty, roasted, sweet taste with orange flavoured chocolate, black bread, raisins, liquorice, vanilla, strong black coffee, a touch of Cointreau and a balanced roasty bitterness in the finish. Full body, sweet. Hardly balanced, quite heavy and intense. But really rich and tasty. Very nice.

Canned (from Systembolaget, Umeå). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is zesty, some chocolate, mild roast, alcohol and some slight liquorice to it. Flavour is liquorice, zest, chocolate, mild roasted notes along with some alcohol and mild toffeeish notes.

440ml Can - Black in colour. Plain chocolate, roasted malt and some noticeable yet unexpectedly faint notes of orange in the aroma. The taste is quite rich and is dominated by plain chocolate and coffee with the orange notes only making a cameo appearance.
