355ml bottle. Jet black colour with late awakening, very small, frothy to creamy, fading, tan head. Sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty and mildly spicy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, couverture, chocolate sauce, cocoa, hints of maple syrup, pancake, vanilla. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty and mildly spicy, notes of chocolate sauce, dark chocolate, couverture, cocoa, hints of maple syrup, pancake, vanilla, wafer; slightly warming, alcoholic finish.
Viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally clyong palate, fine, slightly scattered, mildly prickly carbonation.
Sweet, not overly complex, but a nice composition of matching flavours - solid sipper.

Bottle. A black beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of intense sweet dark chocolate malt, caramel, maple syrup, coffee. Taste of intense sweet dark chocolate malt, vanilla, cocoa, maple syrup. Sticky finish.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is roasted, caramel, chocolate, maple syrup, little funk, taste is similar, sweet, chewy.
