Ein Colaboration-Sud zwischen der Kölner Gaffel Brauerei und der Dänischen Kreativbrauerei Mikkeller. Der erste Sud wurde 2018 gemeinsam gebraut. Der 2. Sud wird im Herbst 2019 eingebraut. Durch Dry Hopping unter Zugabe der Qualitäts-Hopfensorten Hallertauer Perle und Galaxy zum fertigen Bier wird ein individuelles Aroma- und Geschmacksprofil erzielt, das geprägt ist von den würzigen Komponenten Anis und Pfeffer im fruchtigen Zusammenspiel mit Cassis, Heidelbeeren und Brombeeren.

Das letzte Bier aus einer Spezialitäten-Box, die ich vor ca. einem halben Jahr beim Diskonter Hofer kaufte. Im Rahmen meiner Bierreise kommt heute dieses Bier auf den TIsch. Gebraut bei Gaffel in Köln mit den Braumeistern von Mikkeller aus Dänemark. So kommt zumindest ein halbes neues Land hinzu. Es ist ein malziges, spritziges Kölsch, das wirklich fein schmeckte, aber weit vom klassichen Kölsch liegt. Denn das Malz ist tonangebend und dann kommt der erfischende spritzige Abgang. Ein wirklich interessantes Bier.

Draught and Tap @ Mikkeller, Odense. Pours hazy yellow with a wmall white head. Good citrus and fresh bready malts. Beneath there is lots of corn and sweet maize which I am not fond of. A shame. Good elements.

Botella 33 CL de mikkeller shop Tomada en Belmonte 15..01..2020. Color amarillo oscuro a marrón tostado. Sabores maltosos y cereales con toques ligeramente tostados con ligeras levaduras y caramelos tostados. Cuerpo ligero a medio fácil de beber con suave amargo final algo seco y especiados. Buena.

In style i think it’s top notch. It has that slight pepper spice I associate with the style, moreso than any other i think. 2019 advent cal in germany

Bottle from Kalea advent calendar 2019. Clear golden brown lasting white head. Hoppy aroma. Some perfume from the hops. Quite light otherwise. Light carbonation. Some perfumed hoppy beer. light bitterness on the finish. ok
