Ein Colaboration-Sud zwischen der Kölner Gaffel Brauerei und der Dänischen Kreativbrauerei Mikkeller. Der erste Sud wurde 2018 gemeinsam gebraut. Der 2. Sud wird im Herbst 2019 eingebraut. Durch Dry Hopping unter Zugabe der Qualitäts-Hopfensorten Hallertauer Perle und Galaxy zum fertigen Bier wird ein individuelles Aroma- und Geschmacksprofil erzielt, das geprägt ist von den würzigen Komponenten Anis und Pfeffer im fruchtigen Zusammenspiel mit Cassis, Heidelbeeren und Brombeeren.

Bottle, 5%. Clear golden with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, grainy, hop and straw. Flavour is malt, grainy, hop, straw, grass, little sweet, little dry and a little bitter.

Keg, half pint. @«Mikkeller CPH Airport», Kastrup (Denmark). 08/05/2019. Clear golden colour with a lacing white head. Bubbles. Aroma is sweet malts, honey and bread. Taste is bread, herbal and malty. Medium to high carbonation. Next one please!

Draught @ MBCC '19 [ Blue Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Copenhagen Celebration 2019, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark.[ As Gaffel / Mikkeller Viking Kölsch ].Clear medium golden yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, grass, pale malt, earthy herbal, worty - mesk. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, herbal - floral, pale malt, earthy hops, grain, wort, light cereal - yeast. IMO: a little disappointed .. was looking forward to this .. so will retry next time i see it again. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Tap at MBCC. Pours golden. Aroma and flavor are greasy, dry, fruity, citrus. Overall: okish, but noticeably worse than the classic kölsch when tried side-by-side.

Draught sample at MBCC 2019, green session. Clear golden colour with a fluffy white head. Sweet aroma with grasses, earthy notes and fruits. Taste is light bitter. Drying finish with pale malts and grasses. Nice and fresh.

330 ml bottle. Unclear pale golden, fluffy head. Malt, hay, straw, grain, some peach, pepper and lemon, metal, a lot of wort. Dry metallic bitterness. Light bodied, watery texture, soft carbonated, dry metallic finish. Okay!

Tap. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is grains, cereal, very earthy-herbal, worty. Taste is earthy hops, cereal, grains, wort again. Silky mouthfeel with high carbonation. Not great, it has a bit of a worty character.
