500ml bottle from Morrisons, Preston. Pours clear ruby red, thin beige head. Aromas of highland toffee, fudge, malt. Tate is malt sweet at first, then more creamy toffee, then a slight astringent note. Probably better on cask.

Cask at the Rose and Crown, Sandhurst. An attractive copper colour with a loose cream head; floral, lightly malted aroma; fruity, strawberry taste, with some light carmael; and a dry, fresh finish. I was quite taken by this, it was a light, summery, refined bitter, not what I was expecting - makes me wonder if there was a mix up with the lines at the pub.
