green can pours a hazy pale beer with a craggy foam head. Not as thick of a haze as bragged about in the name. Muted hop perfume. First chug is yes, big bitter hops, whew. Certainly intense but a little more controlled than a viscous double impy IPA. Bitterness plows across my buds. Lasting & building with each swig, ruining my tasting ability for a half hour after swigging thru the can. Head never fades, remain large and craggy thru the middle of the session. Now I think I have a slight warming sensation in my gullet. Yep, this IPA is large and in charge without the thickness of most IPA with the same taste characters. However, I wish the co2 level was a little higher. Why do I keep ticking these nasty IPA styles? Why? Because there are a zillion of them out there and there are a thousand new ones every week. I think they are just rebranding previous IPA brews to get lemmings to buy em. There you have it.
