Elsie Mo’s name is derived from the Low Colour Maris Otter malt from which it is exclusively brewed, and which gives the beer its lovely golden hue. A blend of First Gold, Aurora and Bobek hops give the beer its delicate citrus aroma and floral taste.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of fudge, leather, sweet biscuits, grass and wood. The flavour is more grassy with leather, hops and hay in the aftertaste. A little dry. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and balanced bitterness. A decent and well-balanced golden ale.

500ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Harstad. An airy white head to a bright golden body. Laces well. Smooth fruit hoppy nose. Smooth taste as well of herbal hops, bread and mild leafy bitterness to the finish. Well balanced. Drinks very well with the TV football (at home watching UEFA Euro 2016, Tromsø 17.06.2016).

Big offwhite head. Clear brown body. Vague fruity aroma. Dryish-sweet fruity floral taste with perfumy candy notes. Mid-bodied. Silky soft mouthfeel. Dryish fruity floral mealy aftertaste with wooden notes. Quite nice and drinkable. Perhaps a little artificial. (0.5l bottle, from wine monopoly, Strømmen.)
